Synopsis

The Traitor Legions flee Terra in disarray, hounded by the Loyalists, both sides hungry for every scrap of vengeance they can extract. The Warmaster is dead, Terra lies in ruins and the Emperor is silent. Amid the rubble of the Palace, shell-shocked survivors emerge into an uncertain dawn, and new powers arrive from across the galaxy: as readily cast as usurpers as redeemers. Some believe the war is over. Wiser heads know it can never end, and that the only question left is who will rise in the perilous new age, and who will fall.
