Synopsis

Ludwig Schwarzhelm, the Emperor's Champion, is welcomed into the mansion of the van Rauken family in Ostland and served a lavish feast he refuses to touch. By night the true feast begins below stairs, and the daemons of Nurgle at its table learn what the Rechstahl was forged for. A companion short story to Sword of Justice, collected in Swords of the Emperor.
