Synopsis

The Empire conceived by Sigmar has stood for more than a thousand years, but now it rests on the edge of destruction – the reign of the greedy and incompetent Emperor Boris Goldgather has shaken down the great and prosperous edifice of his erstwhile realm. Without warning, a terrible and deadly plague strikes, followed by a tide of monsters from the skaven. Impossible odds indeed... Just as well there's a hero up to the task in these three novels detailing one of the Empire's darkest periods.
