Synopsis

Aspirant training on the world of Nocturne is harsh and unforgiving. Under the close eye of Captain Ba'ken and two of his Scouts, a cadre of fresh recruits ventures out in the deadly fire canyons to prove their worth. A seismic upheaval throws the recruits into certain jeopardy. Despite the efforts of Scout Va'lin who heads into the fire canyons to retrieve them, his and the aspirants' deaths seem certain until an act of fateful providence delivers them from darkness...
