Synopsis

Ever in search of a mighty doom, the Slayer Gotrek Gurnisson finds an opportunity for a great death indeed, fighting against a vicious hippogryph in what can only be a battle to the death. But once he enters the fighting pit and begins to battle the captive beast, Gotrek realises that perhaps his doom is not yet at hand… Read it because It's an interesting perspective on just why Gotrek has failed to meet his doom for so long. An opportunity arises, but his other qualities – the qualities that make him a hero – stop him from seizing it.
